So frustrated! (Rant - long)

It's been a very long time since I have been to these boards. My husband and I got to the point where we never thought we would be able to adopt. Things have been so frustrating and discouraging...But I just have to get this out! Going back to October 2013, we got a new case worker who was absolutely great. She worked really hard for us and really made us feel like she wanted us to find our kids. Unfortunately, though, she informed us that the case workers we had before her had LOST all of our paperwork! They lost pretty much everything, including the Life Book we had put a lot of time and effort into making. So, we had to get a new home study done, new application, new everything. But, everything went smoothly and we got approved again and were even able to go to an adoption party. Fast forward to about 3 months ago. Our case worker had to leave OKDHS for whatever reason (I don't think she was fired or anything, she was great.) And we got a new case worker. We heard from her once and never again. About a month later, we get a letter in the mail saying we got a NEW case worker. We were like what the heck is going on here??? We didn't hear anything from that case worker until last week, where she informed us that we were matched with two kids, and that we needed to update some forms. We were shocked, but excited to learn more about the kids. We made an appointment for the following week. The meeting day comes, she comes to our house and informs us that the last case worker we had LOST all of our stuff.....AGAIN! I couldn't believe this! So we have to REDO all the paper work AGAIN! Thankfully not the homestudy, but everything else! Oh, and she didn't even mentioned the two kids we were matched with until I asked about them. She didn't even bring any information about them with her! Don't you think that's something we would like to KNOW about? So I am fuming by this point. She leaves and my husband and I are just so mad and frustrated we don't even know what to say. I emailed the case worker later to ask about more information about the kids, and she tells me their genders and ages....one of the kids is WAY out of our age range! I mean, who looked at our profile and decided to match us with kids so far out of our age range??? Did they even read our home study? Why did our case worker not even bother to tell us any information about them??? We have a full disclosure meeting this week about the kids and I am trying to keep my mind open but I am not holding my breath. I am so upset at this whole thing. Im sorry this was so long. I have been holding it in for a while now. I am not sure how this next meeting will go but I don't exactly have high hopes.... Thanks for listening...
