I'm fairly new and could use some guidance and friends! We completed our class and we're currently waiting our our caseworker to tell us whats next, our homestudy no doubt.

Bookish, I didn't realize you lived here. We recently moved here. Haven't gotten licensed yet and don't know if we will. I just can't bring myself to sit through those classes again and deal with the intrusion. I like not having to worry about surprise visits!

We are in Arizona, also. North (and slightly northwest) Phoenix. My husband and I just today decided on the agency we'd like to work with. So, naturally, my nerves are frazzled just thinking / wondering / worrying about what's to come!

Welcome to the desert! We actually have never had a surprise visit... but since I said that, I'm sure they'll be knocking on our door anytime now. :rolleyes:
