We received the redacted files for our boys last week. That means they arrived in less than three months. Maybe things are getting faster! Are others having the same experience?
I got mine the other day, it took 10 months but let's not use me as a benchmark as CPS hates me.
Out of curiosity, how long were your files? 1100+ here and I know reports were left out. It was like a sampling of various visits

Ours took 5 months, and there was nothing in there that we did not know, and some information that should have been included was not.

One of ours was 851 pages, and the other was 1500 or so. There was a ton left out, but I am mostly sad that there were no pictures and also that there was no report from the last visit the boys had with their mom. The one case reported taking pictures very regularly during the investigation, and my nosy side would have liked to have them included. Both of our recent cases were in family preservation state for a year and a half before the children were removed, so I loved getting a glimpse of their lives at that time. Mostly it was all very heartbreaking.
