Hi everyone. I'm both an adoptee and a birth mom and I'm looking to meet anyone (birth parents, birth family, daughter placed for adoption). I gave birth to a daughter in late August of 1987, at University Hospital in Albuquerque NM. I don't know the exact date, but will look it up. Thanks! Sue

MountainGirl, You might want to contact someone with Operation Identity in Albuquerque. Operation Identity is a peer-led support group for all members of the adoption triad, which includes adoptees, birth parents, and adoptive parents, or anyone with an interest in adoption. They have monthly meetings on the 4th Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. The meetings are held at Anna Kaseman Hospital, which I believe is now owned by Presbyterian Hospital.
