I'm seconding "kevigil's" complaint. Haven't been here in a few months and it was a pain in the arse to try and figure out how to login here without an email address. (Heck, can't even remember if I used an email when I signed up here 10 years ago...and if I did, if it's one I still even use!)
Easiest way to get logged in with your old username and password:
1. Search for your old username in upper right hand "Search..." box. Then when your new "page" loads (and yes, I HATE that! Every site wants to look like Facebook. If I wanted to discuss adoption issues on Facebook, I'd have a FB account!), you'll need to...
2. click the "Login to Edit your Page" link at the top/right. That will take you to a username/password page where you can...
3. just enter your old name and password without trying to remember a darn email address or using Facebook to login. (Major privacy issues w/that idea!)
Ugh, I just don't get it. Were Adoption Forum users complaining that this site wasn't Facebooky enough?! Why not just leave well enough alone? Now it's a pain in the booty to try to login. And I'm sure most of us do NOT want our usernames associated with real-life emal addresses, especially when we're discussing therapists and birth family. Apparently the Tech team didn't think that one through.
