Kitchen knives?
Matches/lighters?
Cleaning supplies?
Scissors?
Medications and ammo are relatively easy, I mean, just a locked box. But how do you store these things?
With my training speeding up, I am suddenly thinking about the homestudy and wanting it to be 'right' the first time, LOL! :woohoo:
Knives and matches and lighters just want in the normal drawer. For cleaning supplies, I consolidated them to 2 places (under the kitchen counter and laundry room) and then put tot locks on those cabinets (the kind that open with a magnet key). I put one key high up on the refridgerator and the other on the hinges of the laundry room door. I also set up one other cabinet with a tot lock that I could toss stuff into that they all of a sudden decided needed to be locked up. I then disabled all the tot locks and every time they came over to do I check, I got the magnet key and pretended it was needed to unlock the cabinets ;) of course, I only had little babies most of the time so there was no risk they were getting the stuff.
A word of warning. When you actually consolidate all your cleaning supplies, you will be blown away by how many you have!
