I have no info on my bloodline...Only real clue is I was found on Belle Isle, in Detroit, MI August 26, 1966. I was a Newborn......:wings:
I know its a long shot, maybe that's why I have waited this long.
Hi phenixx,
Have you written to the agency you were adopted through to get your n-parents' non-identifying info? Have you registered with any national or state adoption registries?
Have you considered getting a DNA test to try to find matches that way?

Further to what Sitta said - I thought I'd pass on this adoptee forum for family tree dna forum. If you are interested I would bet these folks could tell you how to start and what to do. Adoptees Forum - Family Tree DNA Forums
Kind regards,
Dickons
Thanks guys for the info, especially about the DNA Forum...
I have contacted the agency and obtained my adoption record. It's all pretty cut and dry, nevertheless I think the DNA will have to be next, there is no information to trace or get a lead from.....
What info did they give you?
Do you have a birthplace? Age of your mother?
You'd be surprised how small details just might help confirm a match someday.
Never give up hope. I searched for many years and had given up when my aunt contacted me based on an ad I'd put up on a free adoption website several years earlier. :) It can happen!
