I came across this today and was intrigued by the story . . .
So basically this 30-year-old woman found her birth parents (who are no longer together) and, since she's estranged from her adoptive parents, she wants her birth father and birth mother to adopt her. If you were Amy, what advice would you give?

She's too old to be "legally" adopted in most states.
Unlikely that she will be approved in her wish.
She's a 30 year old adult, and should act like it. Denying her lifelong parents to have her birth "parents" adopt her is silly and a waste of time. She shares their DNA and can still have a relationship with them; destroying her parents who raised her by having her birth "parents" adopt her is a horrible thing for her to do. This adult woman shouldn't be denying her own parents (her "adoptive" parents) who raised her because she hasn't been close to them in a few years. What is the world coming to? She's a disgrace to adoptees.
