Next week we have a visitation hearing to see if bio mom will continue visitations because she misses so many. Has anyone ever had this before?
Also, our FC has an upcoming TPR Hearing in April. The petition was signed in February and the court date is at the end of April. I read that often judges do not consider what work the Biological parents have done after the petition is signed. Have you found this to be true? Only the time before that (which for us would be the first fifteen months). There is a history of severe health neglect, drug use, and not following through with the case plan. For the first eight months she didn't even come to visits.
I just can't imagine eight weeks of attending visits changing the judge's point of view.
I attached a pole if you wouldn't mind filling it out...
