Open Adoption Changing Over Time

I would say I have always had a very open adoption without any super drastic changes, but our level of contact does rise and fall. I'll be out of state for the summer so I won't be able to visit for a few months. We will still text often. When baby r was first born we had visits every other week and photos every day. Now we have visits every month that or so and we text without a regular schedule. Just like any other relationship adoption is up and down.
