Adopting a child exposed to drugs and alcohol

I personally was abandoned (or should I say left to be found as I was left in a hospital bathroom) and my body was full of drugs. Although not 100% certain what drugs the only one that's come up through various adoptive family members is LSD. I was sick a lot as a child due to severe asthma but have no idea if that correlates. Different drugs will obviously have different affects on a newborn body but I was told it wasn't as bad as expected and after a few short months the worst of it was over. I turned out pretty ok and from what I am told I was a delightful child... i doubt that but appreciate it none the less. I really hope and pray most looking to adopt will not pass one up simply for this reason, we all deserve a chance. ;)
