How to tell your child they're adopted

I'm writing an article about telling your child that they are adopted. My main points so far are that you shouldn't have a sit down 'telling your child they're adopted' conversation, but to raise them with the idea from day one. I also am emphasizing age appropriate honesty and allowing them to process their feelings about it. Is there anything I'm missing?
