My great uncle had two daughters in the late twenties. They appear with the family in the 1930 Census but are gone in 1940. The story in the family is that my uncle sold his daughters because he couldn't afford to care for them. Over the years he suffered from depression and would go off for days at a time. He passed Dec 1953, his body was found in the woods in March the following spring. No one alive knows anything about the girls. They would have been born in Utica, NY. Parents were Donald and Jennie Fletcher. TIA
