My wife and I have been caring for a foster child for about six months. Parental rights were terminated less than three months ago. We want to adopt him. Fictive kin (allegedly his babysitter) had a positive home study recently. The kin is unrelated to him. Is there anything that we can do to prevent him from being removed from our care?
