Hi, My wife and I are looking in to adopting. We can’t have kids of our own because of a medical condition that isn’t life threatening and are approved to do Foster care through the state. But she is worried that we can’t adopt either because of one of us having genital herpes. Does anyone know if you have genital herpes does it prevent you from adopting? We have searched multiple forums and only found one post that was on this website from 2004. Would greatly appreciate any information about this.
