Birmingham- Salvation Army home for unwed mothers in Jan 1972

Searching for other birth mothers who might have known my birth mother at the Birmingham Salvation Army home. I was born in January 1972. I would love to know if anyone knew my birth mother. I met her (she has sadly passed on) and my half siblings, just trying to fill in some gaps and understand the experience of being there. I have a baby food jar that has baby's breath inside it, made as a keepsake by my birth mother and given to me by my half sisters. They said that my birth mother had made it, and that she said all the girls at the home were allowed to make one at the time as something to remember their babies by. Does this ring any bells?
