Preparing Prior to Placement

Hi all! My husband and I are just starting down the foster path and are looking for guidance on how to prepare before placement. Obviously, there are plenty of things we’ll need once we’re placed, and we want to lessen that load. We’ve opened ourselves up to any gender, sibling groups, and ages 0-12 (although, in reality, we are trying to stay below 10yo). We have no children in our home currently and are therefore starting from scratch. What suggestions/ resources do you have that can help us put together a list of things we’ll need that we can start gathering before placement?
