Adoption was processed through an agency and is under FL adoption laws, but adoptive parents are from Minnesota.
Birth mother advised the hospital she was reconsidering but they told her that she had to be discharged as insurance would refuse to pay for a longer stay. Hospital was pushing to discharge her and she felt she had no choice but to sign as they (the birth parents) didn't even have a car seat. She has obtained the hospital records and they do not indicate her stating that she wanted to reconsider. Birth father also wants to disrupt or reverse the adoption and get the baby back.
If the adoptive parents are agreeable to asking the agency to reverse/cancel/annul the adoption, would it be possible for the birth family to regain custody without going to court?
