want to adopt when 23 or 25

Since this is my first time using a board sorry for any mistakes I may make. I am an 18 year old female who would like to adopt when I am about 23 or 25. I am wanting to know if it would be better to wait until I get married or if I am just plain crazy for wanting to adopt when I will still be young? Also, is there anything that I can do besides save money and read up about adopting that will help prepare me? I want to adopt a child around the age of four. My mother thinks that it is great that I want to adopt, but says that I should wait until I am married. Please let me know of anything that may help me.

I dont think your crazy.

I'm currently 19 and very much want to adopt a child,

And Plan to start it all when i'm legal age of 21.

I am single and from what i seen some times single parents is better for some kids.

So dont let others get you down.
