We are an active duty army family wanting to adopt. We are just starting the process and I am needing information/suggestions with the homestudy. Are there any places that do homestudies that can be used nation-wide? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Catherine, the way I understand it, is you need a homestudy in the current state you are in, and when you are transferred you just need it updated in that state. (Each state has slightly different requirements) but if you are homestudy complete and current it won't be like going through the ENTIRE process again.

Thanks for the help. We are in the process of starting our homestudy. We have about a year left in NC before we transfer. I hope it isn't too difficult to transfer it with us. We are really lloking forward to becoming parents!
