It is through an agency called WACAP (World Association for Children and Parents)based out of Seattle, WA. They have Waiting Children on a list, many of these children qualify for a fee reduction. (These children are hard to place, many are older or have special needs, but very widely.) Well, of these Waiting Children, they pick children who they promise to find 'forever families' for. The fees for these 'promise children' are waived. This is done so by generous givers to the program. So, the only fees you pay for are the homestudy, travel, and misc. fees such as visas, etc. It is an awesome program! They will send you the list of children if requested and you can see if it is something that you would be interested in. We are in the process, waiting for a child that would fit into our family to come onto the list. Like many others, finances are a problem for us. We are so excited about the opportunity that this gives us. They work with China, Korea, India, US, Thailand and Eastern Europe. They are finding families for children who may have otherwise never made is out of the orphanage. I hope this helped you. Blessings to you!!!
