If you in you paper did some research on the difficulties that some of this adoptees have then you will have a better argument as to why mostly married couples should be allowed to adopt internationally. In addition you have to consider the rules of the donor country. Many donor countries have their own requirements as to who are allowed to adopt their children. I have also been reading a discussion forum in sweden where the politicians are discussing the right of gay couples to adopt internationally. Almost all the adotees on the discussion forum was against this because they believe adoptees have enough to deal with being adopted and then having to deal with that your parents are gay could be asking a little bit too much of this children....
