Wow!! I thought I was the only one with this kind od situation. My husband and I had a very bad experiene with open adoption. We had everything ready for a baby girl. And after 6 month's of waiting, the BM has told us she wants to keep the baby. We have been devastated. Cause we have put in alot of money for this event in our lives.
Now we r trying to save the money to have a tubal reversal for myself. To see if we can have another child. If anyone one knows of any insurance companies that pay for tubal reversals. Please email me at reyna63@univision.com We spent a few thousands of dollars for this open adoptions. And now we r down to zero.

Well, I realize that people's life circumstances can change and what sounded like a great idea at the time is no longer a good decision. Still, a tubal ligation is a fairly common procedure -- I'm not really sure why she did not try that BEFORE getting involved in adoption.
To the original poster: the internet is not a good place to solicit funds. If you are serious about having that surgery, please talk to your family and/or friends to see if they would loan you the money. Or consider taking on a part time job to help pay it.
