It's called babEbook and it's an online-to-print memory journal. My name is Erin Read Ruddick and I'm the co-founder of the company. When my children were born, I was frustrated because traditional fill-in-the-blank books didn't fit my family's experiences. The solution was to create a service that lets parents create a totally personalized book online, then custom-publish a hardcover heirloom book.
For adoptive families this means you can finally preserve your child's memories your way. There are no gaps, cross-outs or ripped pages. You decide what goes into the book. Birthparents or foster parents can contribute directly to a child's book if you choose. And, you can include audio files (of baby giggles or funny toddler sayings), photographs and mementos. These are captured on a CD-ROM included with the published book.
babEbook is really easy and fun, and saves parents a lot of time.
We're thrilled to say we just got a 5-star review from the about.com Adoption Guide. If you'd like to learn more about babEbook, please check us out at Or, feel free to e-mail me (erin@babEbook.com)!
Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely,
