I don't have much info. My parents were 16 and 17 and lived in Indiana. My mom was sent to a home for unwed mothers somewhere in Illinois around 65-66. I know she had a boy, and didn't want to give him up. She never got to see him.

not much to go on. Your post just caught my eye because my husband's adopted parents were told that his natural parents were a couple, that they were still in school. He was taken right away and put into foster care for 2 months until his adoption. he was born 1965 september. In I think DuPage county Illinois.

That is interesting. I only wish at least one of us had more information. My parents (now divorced) don't know that I know. My step-sister told me not too long ago. I am going to see my dad over thanksgiving and may ask him about it.
