You are sent Form I-171H to confirm your pre-approval.Likewise the I-600. You will know that it was approved when they indicate that you will need to fill out form DS 230 Application for Immigrant Visa. You don't usually need an immigration attorney, but since you seem to be filing two forms at the same time that are usually done separately, your case might be indicate an attorney. Be sure that you get one that is acquainted with orphan immigration, though. Most of them only know about adult immigration, which is a lengthy ordeal. Orphans have priority.Best wishes
