A few questions

1. Am I eligible to adopt? I'm a 20 year old male and I do have experience working with children (age factor is what I'm getting at here)2. Where can I find support groups for single adoptive parents? All of the information I read seems to lead me in that direction but I don't know where to find a group or two to join3. I would like to adopt a little boy (preferrably caucasion, but will consider from another race) between the ages of 3 and 10. I would be willing to adopt a child with ADD or ADHD but I do not think I am prepared to handle a child with any emotional or physical problems that go much beyond that. The question here is from start to finish -- I've not had the homestudy yet -- on average, how long will I have to wait in order to adopt?4. How hard is it to get an approved home study? My biggest concern is references -- due to my age I don't have many references I can use. Most of the people I went to high school with split and went their own ways. How many references would I need?5. My plan is to have enough money to pay for the home study in cash. After that first step, how hard is it to get financed for an adoption?
