Help!

i just found out that a cousin by marriage that I don't know at all was in a terrible car accident... he's in the hospital - had to have surgery on his stomach and is currently awaiting word on a spinal injury - there is a great fear that he will be paralyzed but it's too early to tell so no one is using that word.... he's 9 yrs old - what can i send to his hospital room? thanks for your help and suggestions
