what can i do?

A woman that I have known for a long time ended up pregant for the fifth time. She does not know who the father is, one of two people. She told both men she was pregant and one of them she failed to tell that there was another man. She was determined to terminate the pregancy. When funds were not avalible I suggested to her that my brother and his wife were unable to have there own childeren and would she consider adoption. She and the "hopefull" father agreed. He moved out of state and she moved in with me. My brother and sister in law are so excited. By the way they live in Alaska and her and I live in Kansas. Seven month pass by where as my family are paying all the bills, clothing her and feeding her and emotionally support her. All of a sudden the punitive father decides he wants the child. I have no idea how to handle our situation. He may not be the father. I can not stop giving support to her for a few reasons. I have an appointment with a lawyer but not for another two weeks. I feel hopeless and so does she. We are all hopefull that this will turn out to our advantage but i can't help but want to fight for the best life for this child. HELP!:confused:
