I guess I will be the first to post on our great states thread.
I have adopted 10 children and so far, its been a great life with all of them. (15 total)
I have adopted using a facilitator, adopted out of state and adopted in state also. Our childrens ages are 12
are 12 and under and a 16, 21 and my stepson is 31. Our oldest child to be adopted was 7. Our desire is to keep siblings together. Our local DHS has been wonderful to work with. Our adoption specialist is the best! I wish everyone could have such great workers as we do.
I would like to be an encouragement to all of you. Come on, lets get this Arkansas thread going! Robin
PS-I found out about one of my sib groups here in this sites adoption chat room. After we were chosen our worker logged on to the chat room to give us the great news!

We just finalized Monday on our adoption of two beautiful little girls, ages 3 and 4!!! (We've had them since they were 2 & 3). We are so blessed to have these children, God has been wonderful to us!!
We live in central Arkansas, and we had a wonderful adoption experience. We haven't had any problems, everything went smooth as butter!!
I just wanted to share my happiness!!!

Hi, my wife and i are looking to adopt a child. We are using the help of a facilitator and may get a child from another state using an agency recommended by the facilitator. My question is this: How do we find out, apart from the assurances of the facilitator, that the agency we use will do a good job? There is a lot of money involved, how can we protect ourself from an unprofessional or dishonest operator? Thanks
you can contact the better business burea for any complaints. You can also post the name of the agency and see if anyone has gotten "taken" by them. Are you in Arkansas? My email is mom2many@northarkansas.net We used a facilitator while we lived in Texas. Robin
