i was wondering if there are any single parents out there that have moer than one child? i would like to hear how you jugle things and how you handle the added stressors of more than one child. thanks
I have four sons (20, 13, 12, 11). I adopted all four as a single dad. I have a full time job and am in the Army Reserves. I have a cleaning lady, a tutor, and a daycare provider. I have to take time with each child. I also have to make time for myself, but it can be done.
Best of luck.

I have two little girls - both with special needs. I always wanted to be a mother but was not married as I approached 30, so I decided to foster. Fostering led to adoption - right away! I had to get creative to make it work. I now work from home. I work mostly at night, so I can have time with the girls during the day. I feel like I am living my dream!
I adopted two children, now age 12 and 13 and we're in the process of adding 3 more age 4,5,6. I have a nanny that drives the older kids around and will babysit the younger ones. I work full time. My hobby is horseback riding, so I've been able to continue that as the kids enjoy it also. I've never had just one child, so I can't comment on added stress, but having two children has been much less stressful than everyone else thought it would be. In fact, I'm having a blast!

WOW! I am impressed. I would like two or three children, but I think if I had any more than that I would want a partner. Indy, I know you probably here this all the time, but you should be proud of yourself.
Take care,
