My husband and I are desperately seeking God's will regarding adoption. We both feel it is in our hearts to adopt but are confused as to where to start....domestic adoptions scare us for the main reason that someday the birth parents may demand their child back....since we cannot have our own children, we view our adopted children to be our own and would never want that kind of situation to happen....
We've initially started looking into international adoptions....but China takes 18 months, while the Ukraine was anywhere between 7-9 months, which is great!
We are open to the age of the child and would also like to adopt possibly 2 children, maybe even at the same time....brother and sister would be wonderful.....
Can anyone share their stories with us and give us some kind of guidance and recommendations please. Thank you and God bless! :confused:
