Aleeyah is a friendly and a happy child who has a very sweet, loving, and vibrant personality. She enjoys receiving attention and hugs from her caregivers. Aleeyah's verbal vocabulary is limited, and she is learning new words as she mimics what she hears. She continues to make progress identifying and naming objects in her environment. Aleeyah will point, make gestures, and use 3-4 letter words to communicate her needs. She can follow and understanding instructions given by her caregivers. Aleeyah is currently being home schooled. She is playful and likes playing with other children her age. Aleeyah enjoys watching cartoons, playing with her toys, watching learning activities on her leapfrog tablet, and exploring her surroundings. Aleeyah is diagnosed with Gastroschisis condition, or "Short Gut" syndrome. She has a backpack which carries her G-Tube feeding device allowing her to have continuous feeding and more mobility. With support and encouragement, Aleeyah tries hard to accomplish her goals and tasks daily. Aleeyah is looking forward to being adopted as she will bring a lot of joy into her forever family!

Aleeyah's forever family will offer her a nurturing environment that shows her continuous love, patience and individual attention. Aleeyah requires 24-hour supervision and care. Her family must be devoted and capable of consistently attending to Aleeyah's specialized medical care needs and accessing resources to support her development. Her family must be willing to home school Aleeyah. A family willing to relocate states to support Aleeyah's medical recommendations if necessary. Her family will be committed to helping Aleeyah live as normal of a childhood and fulfilling life. Her family will have a very clean, smoke free and pet free environment. Her family will provide a caring and safe learning environment, while providing for her overall development. Aleeyah does well with other children with medical needs. Aleeyah responds best to a predictable and structured home environment. Aleeyah has made significant progress and needs a family who will continually advocate for her while also providing new challenges to further her developmental growth.
