G. William Troxler and Adoption
(Redirected from G. William Troxler)
Biography
Troxler was adopted as a baby. His parents did not tell him he was adopted; they even lied to him when he asked point-blank. Not until 1993, when he went to get his birth certificate, did he learn that he was adopted.
Stymied in his (still unsuccessful) attempts to obtain information about his birth name and his birth parents, he has become a leader of the movement to open up adoption records in the United States.
He is also an educator, with a Ph.D., and is president of Capitol College, in Maryland.
