Activities
This book would be great to read to toddlers and children in an early elementary age. Here are some suggestions of activities you can do along with the book.
Read this book with your child before they go to bed.
Learn about a culture of another country.
Cut out hearts and decorate the doors in your house with them.
Learn about countries around the world and make a giant globe. Then have a show-and-tell with family to share what you and your child learned about the different countries.
Discussion
When teaching children about new things it’s important to listen to their questions and answer them the best way possible. While reading this book, be open to questions your child asks and answer them honestly. If you don’t know how to answer them it’s okay to say that you don’t know the answer.
