Tax Exclusion for Adoption Benefits: Provisions that are contained in the Internal Revenue Code which allow adoptive parents to exclude from their adjusted gross income for federal income tax purposes, some cash or other adoption benefits that they receive from a qualifying employee benefit plan that has been provided by their employer.
