Hugh Jackman and Adoption
Australian Actor and Producer
Hugh Jackman was born in Sydney, New South Wales. He studied communications at the University of Technology, Sydney and took a drama class to make up credits during his final year (1991). After discovering his love for acting he went on to study at the Actor's Study in Sydney and then at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts of Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. Since then he has appeared in several leading television and movie roles including Wolverine in the X-Men series.
In 1996 he married Deborra-Lee Furness whom he met on the set of the Australian TV show, Correlli. After two miscarriages, Jackman and Furness adopted two children Oscar Maximillian and Ava Eliot.
