Biography

US software executive

Ellison was adopted by a Jewish family and raised in Chicago. Although he nevergraduated from college, with two others, he founded the Oracle Corporation in 1977,developing computer database software. He turned his initial investment of $1,200into a fortune of $7 billion, making him one of the richest men in the world.
