Although this video is riddled with awful adoption language I would never ever use on the news to describe adoption, this video is important.
You never know how or where a birth mom will view a profile. This family posted their profile on Craigslist, and it was the means through which a baby boy was placed in his home. In this video, we get to hear the stories of the birth mom and the parents and how they found each other prior to the adoption. We also get to see Tammy’s first reunion with her birth sons two years later.
Networking is everything when hoping to adopt. Using every outlet possible and available. It could be word of mouth, pass along cards, Craigslist, or your agency. It is hard to say which one will work, so why not try them all!?
