Hi Sisterteacher,
I was wanting to ask you how things ended up with your fostering to adopt. My mom, dad, and myself (all in the truth) have been temporarily fostering two wonderful girls who have been raised in the truth since the oldest, now 10, was 2 years old. Her mother has been a bible student for that time. Well as sometimes happens with single mothers who are studying, she faltered in the truth and her life. Unfortunately the girls were removed from her home and placed in CPS custody. Our family scrambled to get our lives together so we could help out both girls and mom. We have had them now for 9 months. It had been a true joy to see them grow spiritually. Unfortunately the judge and CPS do not think that the mother is making enough Progress to reform her life and are wanting to place the girls up for adoption. I wish that my circumstances would allow me to adopt but they just don't. As far as my parents, they are unable to adopt either due to age. Our hearts have been torn apart at the thought of the girls not being able to live in a spiritual household and continue develop a relationship with our spiritual father Jehovah. I'm sorry I'm rambling, long story short, I just wanted to know how your foster to adopt worked out and also if you know of anyone active in the truth looking to adopt two amazing girls?
It's probably a long shot, but I have to do everything I can to find a good home for the precious gems.
Agape,
Your sister in Faith
