In the course of 4 weeks via 23 and me DNA and a PI, I have found my birth father who passed away in 2018. I found my birth mother who wants nothing to do with me and won’t tell me anything about my sibling. She also hired an attorney to tell the PI to leave her and her family alone. Then there’s the cold trail my birth mother left back in 1964. I have no name, No state, No county, No full birthdate to even start with. I’ve posted on an adoption group on Facebook and have taken another DNA test on ancestry.com HOPING she may have too. Why can’t I hire an attorney to compel her and/or the state that I think she was born in to release records?I just want to find my sister.
