read your story on here and truly need your help for adopting a relative Filipina child of 13. My wife is filipna by birth and is a us citizen. her parents just got their immigrant visa approval and will be4 coming here in 2 days. The child is my wife's sister daughter. Question is. Is it better for the grandparents to start the adoption process before they leave the philippines as they are philippine citizens and will continue as they are only getting a green card here? my wife refuses to get dual citizenship. the girl is so eager to be here my wife raised her for 8 years and the parents both will sign any papers and are eager to be here.
