Hi Nicole, How are things since posting? I'm truly sorry to hear about the overwhelming challenges the adoptee in your care is facing. He's obviously very traumatized and hurt from being adopted. It’s incredibly hard when an adoption doesn’t turn out the way you had hoped, especially when you’ve already put so much heart and effort into trying to make it work. This is a situation no one can fully prepare for, especially with the gaps in support from agencies, social workers and attorneys who often don’t offer enough preparation or transparency for families in these circumstances. It's heartbreaking.I know you want what’s best for your family, and rehoming a child is an agonizing decision that no one makes lightly.
