Hello - I am looking for some guidance on domestic adoption. My husband and I are of Indian origin and became permanent residents in 2021. We are looking into domestic adoption to grow our family. I saw several posts from you indicating that it is possible to adopt a newborn in the US. I have contacted a few agencies, and they all have a requirement that one of the adoptive parents must be a US Citizen. I am looking for some guidance regarding this.
