I am just writing to everyone of you out there to tell you a quick little story!
I was 1 yr. old a man and woman adopted me from a couple that just didn't have time for me, they just had time for their "BEER"! This couple already had alittle boy that was 5 at the time that wanted a little sister so goes the story they went out and got him one.....ME.
They took me home, with my new family I had everything that I needed and more, but for some reason I felt that I needed to know the people that gave me life....... so that started a new chapter in my life to look for my biolocical parents!!!!! My MOM (adoptive mom) helped me on the computer for 3years, she never gave up on finding my birthright for me. She spent most of her time on the computer for me!!!!!
What I am asking is can you all light a candle for my MOM because she is my ANGEL My mom was told she has lung cancer 2 days ago and I am going to loose the one person that chose to be my MOM I love this woman with all my heart!! All you guys that have your mothers still around please don't take it for advandge that they will be around forever!!
PLEASE!!!! Light a candle for my ANGEL!!! And keep us in your prays everyday!!
Thanks, LISA

Lisa,
I am so sorry that your Mom has cancer. You poor thing. She does sound like an ANGEL. I have one of those angels too and I tell her everyday how much I love her. Mine is 70, going on 40 and is my best friend. She has also been very supportive in my search for my birthfamily. Though I'm not Catholic, and I'm not sure about what lighting a candle will do, I will right now light a candle and say a prayer for your angel. I will pray for her everyday, and for you! Stay strong, give her a hug from me!

You, your mom and your family are in my daily prayers. I hope things will be alright.
I was adopted and my amom is my best friend. She had a lung removed in 1993 due to cancer. Thank goodness I still have my friend/mom with me.
I hope the same blessings on your mom and your family which were bestowed on us in her healing.
Good luck and please keep us informed as to how she's doing.
God's Blessings,
Duchie
Lisa,
I was so sorry to hear about your mom and will keep her in my thoughts and prayers as well. As for lighting a candle, you can count on it. I lost my adoptive mom (my best friend) less than one year ago to a massive heart attack and know exactly what you are going through. Even though you may not be religious, God loves you anyway and will watch over you and keep you safe. I became Lutheran when I was married 14 yrs ago but am not an active church goer. However, God has held my hand and carried me through some very tough times as he will you. Keep your chin up and remember that she will love you forever and always.

I am so sorry to hear that your mother has lung cancer. Cherish every moment that you have and realize how lucky you are that your MOM understands and wants to help you. I could not even think to tell my mom that i'm looking, it would break her heart. God bless your mom, and when I go home tonight I will light a candle just for you and her.
Hugs
Kelly :)
Thank everyone of you all. And i am religious,I cant spell but I was raised in a very loving home. She is my bestfriend and she is doing well and fighting all the way.See she is as close to GOD as anyone can be. I will light a candle for everyone I know cuz there is good people left in this world. You know she still sits on the computer and looks for my bio parents and half bro. Now that is a ANGEL!
