Taz,Don't give up! We found our agency by asking our local crisis pregnancy center who they referred their clients to. They gave us the name of two Christian agencies. I called them both and got their information packets. If you can't find the name of a Christian agency in your area contact Bethany Christian Services. They have offices all over the U.S. You can check and see if there is one near you on line at Bethany, They has been in business for over 50 years. Above all keep praying and read your Bible, especially Psalms. That got me through a lot of ups and downs before we brought our first home.

Hi all, When choosing an agency it is important to talk to others who have adopted from that agency. Also make sure they are licensed. Check with the state Licensing for your state. I don't know how reliable and up to date the site is, but it did help, when I was investigating an agency for a friend. Well, I've found an agency and things are really moving forward quite fast...which is surprising but awesome..starting to work on my dossier so that i can really jump up the line on my paperwork. just wanted to say thankyou for all your messages. laura
