Really good book, especially for those of us who are just starting out. Details a period where her and her family have a number of placements. Talks about the successes and failures. Doesn't mince words about the system, either. From what I could surmise, gives a realistic view of the kinds of things to expect. I have read it through twice, every time makes me cry.....and keeps me up at night.
