I am not able to help you with lullabies, however, my friend is the mother of a newborn and has found the Fisher Price Aquarium (attaches to the side of the crib) works instantly in putting her baby to sleep. It emits real water sounds and plastic fish swim by, if you are in a Babies R Us check it out, I think I would even like one! : )

Linda Rondstadt's CD "Dedicated to the One I love" is awesome! A good friend of mine has used it in her bedtime "ritual" for her three-year old since he was born. He was very hard to get to sleep, but just loves this music.
