Matched soon!!!!

Hi... I followed along with your "waiting" emails and was wondering what the status is of your adoption? Have you brought your bundle of joy home yet? You were using Southern Adoption, correct? We are using them and have been informed that we are 3rd on the list. But evey week there is something else making us wait yet another week and another week. Any insight? I anxiously await your response. Amy :confused:

Hi Amy, It is so nice to now that I am not posting just for the sake of posting and that someone is reading the posts!! Ha Ha! Actually I spoke to SA this afternoon and got some really hopeful information. We were number 3 on the list, but moved into the number 2 position today. They had a birthmom arrive last night and have 6-8 more getting ready to travel within the next week or so. I guess they need to get their passports before they can travel. We are number 1 for a boy. Are you waiting for a boy or a girl? How long has your docs been in Hawaii? Ours have been there since August 1st. I can sympathize with having something new delay the matching process. This is exzctly how we feel too. If you want you can email me direct and we can keep up that way. I am also in contact with another family using SA. I am happy that you are happy and hope that you will be bringing your baby home soon. Just hold on this is going to be such a happy moment for your family. I can 't wait until the day comes when they can call and tell us that we are so close on the list. again i am happy for you please don't forget to let me know when the baby comes home and the name. I know you must have a name by now. I am so happy for your family and very happy for the baby.

Sue, I just wanted to say "Thank You" for posting and I ejoy keeping up with your progress. I have just found out about the Hawaii program with SA. I talked to Kathy a couple of weeks ago. I am gathering information for our next adoption. The Hawaii program sounds GREAT!! So exciting to be able to get your baby at such a young age. And not have to travel outside the US.
