Members... does anyone have information to share about a home that existed in the 60's called Glenbrook Girls home? My non identify info states that my BMom and Brother were there and I am searching for a way to find out more about this home.

hi,theres a glenbrook girls home in st.johns ,newfoundland,or it was years ago,i was born there and given up for adoption--i found my biologial parents

Glenbrook Girls Home was run by the Salvation Army. Contact them in St Johns Newfoundland. They are very kind.

Sooooo..... What ever happened??????!!!!????? I'm starting my search, and this sounds like a gem of a piece of info. How many Girl's Homes could there BE in St. Johns??? I was born in '68.
